About Michelle’s
Established in 2020 in Holualoa, Hawaii, Michelle’s Kona coffee estate is nestled on five verdant acres on the slopes of Mount Hualalai (one of the five volcanoes that form the Big Island of Hawaii), the world-famous Kona coffee belt overlooking the town of Kailua-Kona.
Kona coffee is unique because it is grown in rich volcanic soil at high elevation in the warm morning sun and gentle afternoon rains. Not all coffee grown in Hawaii is Kona coffee—the islands of Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Moloka'i, and other regions of the Big Island grow coffee, but it is not Kona coffee unless grown in the Kona coffee geographic demarcation. You can taste the difference.
